Annual Chili Cook-off!

HBS threw their annual "Chili Cook-off" on Saturday. Madelyn and I sampled chili, ate chips and guacamole, and played in the glorious weather for 4 hours! It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. Madelyn woke up from her nap just in time for the festivities (hence, the reason she is still wearing her jammies - plus, I think that she is adorable in this hand-me-down, early 1980's jumpsuit).

Miss Madelyn found this chewed up football and rock. She carried them around forever.

Madelyn walked right over to this group of strangers and sat down. She began telling them everything she knows and she had them cracking up. She sat with them for nearly 5 minutes. It was really, really cute!

Yeah, I have no idea what this face is. She was trying to do her silly face and I think this was taken as she was transitioning into another silly face. Result: Really weird look! lol

My sweet babe~

Eating gaucamole and sour cream, which she LOVED! She wouldn't even eat the chip, merely used it as a utensil.

Madelyn is obsessed with bicycles! Whenever she sees one she has to go and ride on it.

I'm sorry but I have to ask, what does HSB stand for?

Oh, sorry... it means Harvard Business School. Thanks for making me clarify. I should really be more specific :)

I'm so glad you have a blog, Heidi. Maddy is so adorable. I love to read your stories about her, too. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that Baby #2 keeps her head where it belongs - good luck!
