I was making smoothies. I asked Dan if he wanted one, he said no because I was making it with lemonade. Maddy heard our interaction and she said, "mommy, daddy doesn't like lemonade?" I replied, "nope." Then she asked, "is that a joke?"
Sister, that is funny. It sounds like something a mature adult with a refined, dry sense of humor would say, which makes it that much funnier that Maddy said it. What a hoot! Congrats on your win tonight, you can display the crown (ehem my crown) in your home until I need to secretly wear it again at home when Porter leaves for school. :)
