On Sunday August 2nd, we blessed Laila in Hume, Virginia. Nearly all of Dan's family was there as well as my mom. Laila wore the same dress that I was blessed in 25 years ago! Dan's father Bern, brother Dave, and the bishop stood in the circle while Korbin, our nephew, held the mic. Dan gave a beautiful blessing and we had a fun BBQ afterwards. Wendi, my mom, and I had fun taking pictures of Laila.

What fun pictures, too, it's neat because I see so much of Maddy in Laila, but then she has a totally different look at the same time! What beautiful eyes, too!
