Prayers
Madelyn really likes to pray during meal-time. She doesn't like to say the initial prayer - in fact, she is usually desperately asking for food, fork, water, etc., during the prayer. After we begin eating she will usually say about 3 prayers. Today, while eating her oatmeal, Madelyn folded her arms and said, "Hedenly fader, bless da food, tank you for oadmeal, name Jesus Christ" It was sooo adorable!

That's so cute. Beckett always interrupts our prayers (and the ones in church) by screaming, "I pray, I PRAY!" But for some reason he won't ever open with "Heavenly Father" he goes straight for "Tank you..." Lucky for me it usually starts, "Tank you fo Mama."
I can't believe she's talking!! Just thinking about the ladybug cupcakes we made at this time last year! It's been too long!
These three newest posts are so great, Heidi! Maddy has grown up so much in the year since I saw her last. She's one of the sweetest, cutest little ones around, for sure!
I love those first prayers, and it's so cute the she did it all by herself! It's on these occasions that you feel rewarded.
