That is a good question! I have been blog MIA for about three weeks! Here is a little recap of our adventures.
After my last post Dan and I went to Rome. We spent a few days in a hotel right next to the Colosseum. We had such a great time! On the first day we went to Vatican City. We toured the museum, Saint Peter's Basilica (the apostle Peter is allegedly buried there), and the Sistine Chapel. The obelisk in front of Saint Peter's Basilica dates back to 3000 BC! It was brought from Egypt by the emperor Nero.
Funny Story: Please buy some indulgences for Madelyn or she might not make it into heaven! While walking through the Vatican Madelyn's overly full diaper just couldn't hold any more - she PEED all over the floor!
We also went to the Pantheon, the Roman forum, the jail where Peter and Paul were allegedly held before their deaths, the Colosseum, etc. It was a fabulous trip.
That weekend we flew home to the US. We had already spent 2 1/2 months in Italy and we were ready to get our lives started in Boston. We made a quick detour in Utah and Montana for a family reunion and then flew to Boston on Monday July 21st. We moved everything into our apartment and have been unpacking for the past three days. Needless to say, things have been CRAZY BUSY!
Stay tuned. In a few days I will post some pictures of the last three weeks. I need a few more days to get settled!
(...and yes, I am OCD about changing the look of this blog! I get bored of the same old look! )

Welcome back! I hope getting settled goes well. Have a great time in Boston with all our friends. :)
Welcome back, you guys! I can't wait to hear how things are in Boston.
We loved Rome! How funny about Maddie and peeing on the floor but would it be Matty that wouldn't make it to heaven or her parents? I don't think she can change her own diaper, can she? j/k!
good luck in Boston!
LOL. So true. I guess I should ask everyone to buy indulgences for me!
