This morning I took Madelyn and Laila to apply for passports. I dressed them in cute outfits, I did their hair, I even explained everything to Maddy. She was very excited. I believed that I would have the CUTEST passport pictures ever! Well, just take a look....
I thought both passports would end up looking just like this, so sweet...
Then there was Maddy... Yes, that is a tear-streaked face, puffy-red eyes, and a very messy ponytail... ;)
Needless to say, we had a rough day...

Oh my gosh, that is hillarious. I know you are probably not laughing yet but it is too funny.
Oh Heidi I feel you, I did Steele's a few weeks ago and I thought "perfect, he looks just like a kidnapped child being trafficed internationally!" At least they look authentic!
Ok, your post is cracking me up and now BreAnna's comment is cracking me up! So funny...kids...they just have their own agenda, don't they?
However, as far as I see it - 50% of your children under the age of 3 cooperated, and that's saying something! ;)
I hope you're planning to go someplace fun with their passports. Just think, once you're on your trip, it won't really matter what their passport picture looks like!!
You should see T's!! Why they insist on photos for 6 month olds I will never know...it's not like they look remotely like that 6 months later. Oh well...something they can look back on and laugh at, right?
Passport pictures are always tough. We took Beckett when he was about 9 months old and with the flash on a white background my albino child pretty much disappeared. We have a passport photo of big blue eyes and a shirt collar.
