We had a great week! Dan's sister Juli and her kids came to visit. We went on the famous Boston Dukw (pronounced "duck") tours, the science center, Boston Commons, Walden Pond, and Concord. Madelyn loved playing with her cousins (especially Brianna). We were sad to see them go!
Madelyn loves doing everything that Laila is doing. When I told her that I was going to give Laila a bath she had to get in too. Some of the funnier things that Madelyn has requested to do after seeing Laila do it were; 1) taking a rectal temperature and 2) having her nose suctioned. Silly kid!

Dan and Madelyn rode a simulator at the Boston Science Center. She was a little nervous, but overall it was a fun experience.
Madelyn also found a musical staircase. She kept saying, "mommy, come here!" and then she would point to the staircase. Obviously she wanted me to join in on the fun.
We went on the Boston Dukw tour. It is a tour that uses an old WWII vehicle that can drive directly from dry land into the water, becoming a boat. We learned a lot about Boston and how the vehicles were used in WWII.
The tour guide let Madelyn drive the boat. So cool!
At Boston Commons we waded at Frog Pond. Madelyn loves "swimming in the water." This is a picture of Madelyn's cousin Brianna. Madelyn followed her everywhere, giggling and goofing off just to get her attention. Thanks Brianna for watching my baby!
Playing with Brianna at Walden Pond. She kept throwing this rock in the water and then she would make Brianna retrieve it for her.
Proof positive that Madelyn will never smile for the camera, she will only do her "silly look."
At Concord we went to the bridge where the Revolutionary War began. Laila and I were walking across the bridge when Dan took this picture.
