Revolutionary War Reenactment

One of my best friends, Dawnell Moon, came up to visit us this weekend. We had a great time. We went to a Revolutionary war reenactment with the Galbraiths (our next door neighbors- and some of our best friends too- so fun!). There were many live history demonstrations throughout the day. The Red Coats even tried to enlist able-bodied men to join the British army. Alicia Galbraith tried to sign up but they wouldn't let her because she is a woman! Well, I guess it is true to how life was back then.

There is a wade pool in the park. We took our babies there after the festivities.

I love Madelyn's hair in this photo.

Sheldon stuffed an entire nutra-grain bar into his mouth. Hilarious!

Maddy and the Redcoats.

Playing in the water.

Spider Man Baby.

Beckett and the Red Coats.

This picture is priceless: (left to right) Chris is yawning, Dan is lost in his own train of thought, and Christopher is showing us his modeling pose. Silly men!

i can't decide, would watching a reenactment be fun or boring. It's kind of how I feel about baseball! I guess what I'm trying to say is, was it fun? and a PS, I'll make you one of the scarf/hood things if you'll buy the yarn and maybe a little something for the time. Just remember, I'm still a beginner!

So jealous! I would have loved to have come and hung out with you, Alicia and Dawnell! I miss you guys! (Although Dawnell a little less because I still see her at book club.)
